General Information

Parent/Teacher Conferences: We welcome conferences between parents and teachers. However, please understand that it is impossible to do this between classes or when class is dismissed. Never interrupt a teacher during class. Rather, schedule an appointment at the front office by leaving your name and phone number and the teacher will return your phone call in a timely manner. Any instructor will be happy to discuss and share their expertise regarding your child.

Student drop-off/pick-up: Please drop dancers off no more than 10 minutes before their class begins and arrive at least 10 minutes before class dismissal for pick up. If late pick-up becomes necessary, please contact office by phone. We are not responsible for students left alone waiting for their pick-up. Students are NEVER allowed to wait outside. If early drop offs and late pick up are continuous, a service fee of a dollar per minute will ecru to your account for watching your child before and after their class. Ten minutes are allotted both before and after class as a courtesy.

Visitors: One observation week is planned each dance season. (Refer to your studio calendar in this brochure for dates.) During this week, you may visit the classes in progress. We welcome flash and video cameras. PLEASE DO NOT BRING STROLLERS ONTO THE DANCE FLOORS IN STUDIO CLASS ROOMS. No food or drink allowed.

Lobby Seating: If you choose to remain at the studio during class time, please wait in the lobby and reserve the hallway and back areas for students waiting for class and for those changing rooms. PLEASE KEEP NON-DANCING SIBLINGS IN THE LOBBY AND DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO ROAM, RUN OR PLAY IN THE HALLWAY. The studio class rooms are not permitted for non-dancers. No food or drinks are allowed in the lobby.

Late Arrivals: Please call or send a written notice to the office to notify them of a late arrival or if you child will be absent from class. We welcome dancers to sit and observe class if they are sick (no fever/not contagious). When class is in progress, please wait until music has finished, knock softly on the studio door and quietly let your child in.

Holidays/School Closings: The studio observes the following holidays with the Gwinnett County Schools ONLY:  Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Winter Break (Christmas), Martin Luther King Day and Spring Break.  We do not close for teacher work days.  Tuition remains the same for every month regardless of a holiday closing.  In the event of bad weather, the studio will close and re-open along with the Gwinnett County Schools.

Valuables: The studio is not responsible for any losses or damages to personal property left in the studio or dressing rooms. Leave all valuables at home. PUT NAME INSIDE ALL DANCE SHOES, DANCE ATTIRE AND DANCE BAG.

Communication: Keep visiting our website / facebook page for monthly updates and announcements on upcoming events and important information.
